Specific food processor useCan you imagine your kitchen without a food processor? I can’t. This is one of the most versatile units you can imagine. It chops, slices, dices and purees. There are so many ways in which you can use a food processor. I have decided to list the ways I use mine to prepare the most delicious meals. I’m positive that there are a lot more uses for it, so please feel free to add to this list. If you’re still on the fence about buying a food processor, you can choose from the best food processors the market has to offer.

Nowadays, food processors come with a wide variety of attachments and I seldom use all of them. In fact, I use only a couple of them and have great results. As with anything in life, I believe we are only limited by our imagination when preparing tasty food. So without further a due, let’s list the best uses for our food processor.

1. Pesto is the Best-o – And not just pesto. Different kinds of salsas, dips and spreads are much easier to prepare with a food processor. Considering that the ingredients have to be finely chopped, a food processor is a necessity here.

2. My Favorite Grind – Using a food processor to grind meat and nuts is the best. I don’t have much faith in bought ground meat. I don’t know what they’ve put in the grinder. Many times I have been very unpleasantly surprised with what I’ve found in my ground meat. I don’t know about you, but I like my ground meat to be from leanest meat possible.

3. Making Bread and Pizza Dough – It works like a charm. At first I was skeptical, but I found that the food processor performed flawlessly. Not every food processor is going to provide you with perfect dough, though. For the best results, I recommend a stronger unit like this one.

4. Shredder Power – Anything from blocks of cheese to various different vegetables like carrots and beets is shredded into nice little chunks with the help of a food processor. You want to prepare a carrot cake in a minute? No problem! How about cabbage salad? For the lazy among you, this feature is a god send.

5. Chopping Funny Smelling Stuff – The food processor is worth buying just for this feature alone. No more smelly fingers. Onions and garlic can be processed in mere seconds with the help of the pulse button!

I’m aware that there are countless more uses for a food processor and I welcome you to post your favorite ones. These are the ones I use regularly and religiously and I never end up disappointed!
